We next asked which HIF-1α–dependent signals sustain CXCR6+ TRH cells. Intratracheal #IL-21 administration restored CXCR6+ TRH cell numbers, consistent with reduced #Il21 transcripts in sorted TRH cells and lower IL-21 levels in #BALF from Hif1aiKO mice (7/10).
