The IMF created the Support Group Leaders Summit (SGLS) 25 years ago to engage, educate and empower the support group leaders in our community. The summit is focused on uniting patient leaders to share myeloma resources, updates, and most importantly, hope. #IMF35 #KnowMyeloma
In 1997, we expanded our global footprint to reach myeloma patients as far as Japan and the UK. We also created a dedicated team to advocate for myeloma patients—starting a push that would go on to accomplish record progress advancing oral parity legislation. #IMF35 #IMFAdvocacy
