A chalkboard sign for a new beer going on tap at Cranes Castle Brewery: the Blackjack Brown, originally from Slaughter County Brewery in Port Orchard, WA. Brewers by Jared Doss of Crane’s. Blackjack Brown is a rich, dark, north english brown ale, named after Blackjack Creek, which ran alongside Slaughter County Brewery. Blackjack was originally designed with our friend Bill Foster as a clone of his favorite beer, Legend Brown, from Legend Brewery in Richmond, Virginia.
