A photo of "The Internet in a Box," version 2.0. The package contained software for connecting Windows machines to the Internet (a TCP/IP stack, telnet and FTP clients, newsgroup readers, Compuserv... all the good stuff). It was purchased at a closeout sale, probably in about 1996.
Sometimes I miss the days when the Internet could be confined to a box and tucked away in the back of a closet where it could do no harm.
