U.S. To Require Tourists From 38 Countries To Post Bonds To Enter Country Visiting the U.S. just got much more expensive for tourists from 25 additional countries following an update to the State Department’s policy on visa bonds.

US State Department significantly expanded a visa bond program first announced in August, adding 25 countries whose citizens may be required to post bonds of up to $15,000 to enter the U.S. on a tourist visa.
