Israel stocks lower at close of trade; TA 35 down 0.13%
Investing.com – Israel stocks were lower after the close on Monday, as losses in the Insurance, Financials and Oil & Gas sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 35 lost 0.13%.
The best performers of the session on the TA 35 were Nova (TASE:NVMI), which rose 4.32% or 3,730.00 points to trade at 90,120.00 at the close. Meanwhile, Camtek Ltd (TASE:CAMT) added 1.86% or 490.00 points to end at 26,770.00 and Amot Investments Ltd (TASE:AMOT) was up 1.43% or 34.00 points to 2,407.00 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Navitas Petroleum LP Unit (TASE:NVPTp), which fell 3.37% or 350.00 points to trade at 10,050.00 at the close. Harel (TASE:HARL) declined 2.48% or 280.00 points to end at 11,030.00 and Phoenix Holdings Ltd (TASE:PHOE) was down 2.28% or 270.00 points to 11,560.00.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange by 237 to 215 and 91 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for October delivery was up 0.86% or 0.53 to $62.40 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in November rose 0.99% or 0.65 to hit $66.15 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.69% or 25.12 to trade at $3,678.42 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was down 0.31% to 3.32, while EUR/ILS unchanged 0.01% to 3.90.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.17% at 97.56.
