Flames can be seen engulfing many highways with large clouds of smoke obstructing visibility, causing travelers to abandon their vehicles along the sides of the roads. Interestingly enough, the fires seem to only be active in Israeli occupied territories, completely avoiding Ga-za and the West Bank. According to United Hatzalah, an emergency response organization, the cause of the fires remains unknown, and the 120 firefighting teams struggle to make any progress in containing the flames amid 60 mph winds.
