But Sonic shrugs this off and immediately turns his attention to Shadow The Hedgehog, and the two immediately start trash-talking each other. Making Jet so mad that once the race starts, he attacks and trash talks Shadow. Vowing to take him down before Sonic, which Shadow is unimpressed by as Cream The Rabbit watches them.

In Sonic IDW Comics Issue #28, as The Babylon Rogues are being surrounded by Zombots, Jet The Hawk receives the Green Chaos Emerald from Wave The Swallow and she tells him to take it back to Sonic The Hedgehog as she and Storm The Albatross lost their extreme gear. Jet instead uses a string to tie the Chaos Emerald to his gear and sends it back to Angel Island without him. Deciding to stay with his teammates to fight the Zombot horde.
