Today I released CRIC 24.12!

#CRIC, Custom Runtime Image Creator, is a gui for the #jlink command.

It produces custom runtime images, kind of #Java Runtime Environments.

Starting with this release, the snap supports classic confinement.

Oops, I think I may have been conflating #jpackage with #jlink in my previous comment ... jpackage is a higher level tool built on jlink that helps to creates an entire installer for #Java programs.
