Kane County workforce staff outline new training, kiosks and $9.3M WIOA grant increase At a Oct. 17 Kane County Jobs Committee meeting, the countys workforce manager reviewed staffing changes, a new Waubonsee Community College hybrid and electric vehicle repair certificate added to WIOA training options, a 15-kiosk pilot for job access, and financial and performance figures including a $9.3 million WIOA allocation for 2025.
