She brought in two things to her shop today: a lost thing as usual and a Valentine's day card to give her beloved saggy cloth cat. And do you know what was written on the card? This is what it said: "To my dear friend Bagpuss,old fat furry cat-puss,thank you for mending all of the things that i bring into this shop.You are the bestest saggy old cloth cat friend a little girl like me could ever have.Our friendship will last forever until the very end. Love from Emily" Bagpuss was so happy to hear those words that he leaped into Emily's arms and danced all around the shop with her. Even though he's baggy and a bit loose at the seams,Emily loved him. As Tom Jones once sang: "Pussycat,Pussycat,I love you, yes i do: you and your Pussycat nose" The pose is based on the opening credits of the 1974 SmallFilms series
