Description : Cette photo est tirée du Volume 4 de 13 de rapports de visites faites par A. Lambert et Roth. Visite effectuée le 20 juin 1949 au camp des détenus mineurs de l'Ile de Makronissos. Le rapport précise dans la description général du camp : "Lors de la visite du 28 mai 1949 avec Mr.Traz, ce camp comptait 210 détenus de 14 à 20 ans. Lors de la visite du 20 juin l'effectif du camp était de 500 détenus de 14 à 20 ans." "Chef du camp : Colonel Soulis. Ce camp est actuellement en formation. Il s'agit de tous les enfants mineurs, condamnés pour des délits politiques, et qui sont enlevés des prisons pour être confiés au Colonel Baïractaris, qui a accepté de construire un camp de rééducation à l'intention de ces jeunes condamnés politiques. En attendant que ce nouveau camp soit construit, les jeunes délinquants vivent sous la tente, et se trouvent dans une ambiance infiniment meilleure à celle des prisons. Ce camp est destiné à recevoir environ 2000 jeunes prisonniers politiques qui sont ramenés des prisons ou du Centre pénitentiaire de Ghioura."
