A screenshot of a steam review from the game squash and spell : kids typing that says;
A wonderful game that provided to my toddler everything needed to jump start into letters, phonics, reading and keyboard familiarization all in open ended play. This app's graphics strike the delicate balance of not being too flashy where i feel it would make my kid crazy and zombiefied but also still engaging and fun and not dull for a toddler's short attention span.
The open endedness style of play makes it ideal for a toddler to explore however they want, both as a joined activity with a parent or entirely on their own. The phonics are a nice touch whereas normally kids would hear the name of the letters ad nauseam they instead get to hear the sounds and associate that with the letter's name.
All in all 10/10, highly recommend!
