#Ketspace Since I'm pretty sure I know which rock I attribute #Childe to, lets do him today.
Intro: Carribean Calcite
This lovely rock literally looks a beachside photo captured in stone, with soft blues, whites, and gingery stripes.
This is a small piece of freeform polished apatite, a stone with mixed blues like frozen water and deep oceans. It is a solid, opaque stone that sparkles when given light, but doesn't glow when lit nearly as much as some others.

For Kaeya - Apatite, the lovely blue stone of manifestation. Crystal fans praise this rock to high hell for it's pretty sheen and deep meanings on communication and realizing dreams.

#KetSpace Today I discovered A NEW ROCK: 鸡血石 or "Chicken Blood Stone"
This bright red gem is full of legends and history back to the Ming Dynasty. It's native only to China and fairly rare anywhere else.
Spiritually, it has many meanings, but often related to healing, good luck, and success.
A medium heigh tall geen stalk sports a pop of bright or light pinks with a star shaped green center and dark red base of the petals. The Manchineel tree is also called the little apple of death for the small apple like fruits it grows off the broad leaf branches. Do not eat them. They can, and will, kill you. Even water dripping off the leaves is poisonous. This tree hates everyone. You will find meet god if you fuck with this tree. A green bush with long oval leaves with a slight point and lighter green veins. They appear symmetrical, but alternating directions. Flowers come off thinner stems and start as white egg shaped globes before blooming in tight clusters mixed with more buds. The blooms are about the size of an ant. It has many narrow skinny oval shaped petals busheled around an almost geometric-ish spiral pattern of yellow surrounded in a pale white that turns purple. I know yall didn't follow me for plant stuff but I hope you support me doing them. It's nice and I like it. There's so many plants out there and they're so interesting and pretty. I have been tagging it (like above) the same as my OC stuff so people can filter if they see the need.
Clementines are a spherical round orange fruit with a textured, but not quite rough peel. The leaves of the tree are dense, but narrow with defined tips and slight serrated edges. Cultivated for over 3,000 years, the Clementine's origins are a matter of debate. Some claim China and others claim it's a hybrid. I just know it's delicious.

Asp of Jerusalem or Woad- this flower is known from ancient Egypt to dye cloth. It's also believed to be behind the blue color of the Picts to blend in with the sky a hilltop. It's also highly toxic.

The belladonna has purple, almost egg shaped petals that open at the narrow tip and curl back. Once fully mature, it has dark shiny berries on a star shaped bed. The leaves are broad and also egg shaped leaves that grow rather solitary from the thicc, cripsy stem. None of this plant is good for eating. None of it. Do not eat this plant. This plant used to be used to be placed by windows to drive away sorceries and spells from the home. It can be carried for good luck, especially in court matters.
In floriography, it means "Branch of thorns"
Jasmine forms in a bushy vine that can drape over walls and fences, with small pointed oval leaves with defined lines. The flowers grow off thinner stems with buds of tightly spun white petals that blossom into five petals that peel back to reveal a small white stamen inside the cone shape. Little spindly bits twirl around the buds and decorate the flowers even after blooming. The Maile vine has thick looking, shiny, and oval dark green leaves. Tiny tube shaped flowers in a yellowy-green or orange come from the base in a brighter green. Today's plant is Alyxia oliviformis- the Maile Vine.
Endemic to Hawaii, it is sometimes still used in marriage traditions in leis. The couple would have their hands wrapped in interlocking leis and the groom/smen would wear it.

There's an old saying the if you wear the plant with blue silk over your heart, it will help heal heartbreak. Having a clover in your shoe is good luck at weddings, and always when signing a contract.

Today's flower is Crassula dichotoma aka the gold stonecrop!
While it's called gold, it can change color depending on how and where it's planted. Native to South Africa, you can find it in sandy soils.

A Larix occidentalis shown at two times a year. This spindly looking pine is not evergree and will lose it's needles in the fall after turning a bright green. It has very small pinecones, long limbs with many itty bitty bits.

This tree is known for it's wood being sturdy, rot resitant, and tough making it favored for yacht building;
yet it's small needles make it a popular choice or Bonsai.

Today's plant is Astilbe chinensis
The name of this flower comes from the greek word Astilbe- or 'dull' as the plant is wholly not flashy or shiny. It is native to Asian, most common in China and extending to Korea and Japan.
In floriography, it means "without brightness" or "dull"
The pepper tree has long leaves that come off a single stem in symmetrical patterns. The berries ae red to pink peppercorns that form in a cluster almost like grapes but more chaotic.

Once upon a time in Mexico and S. America, branches of this tree were taken and ran across patients to absorb illness. After, the the branch would be burned to destroy the disease.

A picture of Lemon Leaf, poofy and wild as it should be. Small pink stems hold white bell shaped flowers in little clusters. The leaves are bright to dark green with age, on red-brown stems. It's a very colorful shrub.

Also called shalal or Lemon Leaf, this evergreen has red stems, big egg shaped leaves, small white flowers, and edible blue berries. It can be used as an appetite suppressant and an astringent.

Tarragon flowers are clustered bunches on a thick stem that branches out in long oval leaves.
