When a colleague dies it puts work into perspective. Nigel Birch was an amazing scientist and teacher (neuro/cell/biology) but more importantly he was a husband & Dad, and a kind, generous and collaborative colleague - the epitome of #kindnessinscience @AucklandUni #vale
