I & several other researchers have identified what we have reasonable grounds to believe are pictorial depictions of #SolarEclipses, &or #SolarEclipseSymbolism, carved into the #MegalithArt of #Dowth, #Knowth & #Loughcrew.
We arrived at our #SolarEclipse hypotheses independently of each other.
I don't think I was being "confrontational" about Dr. Shee Twohig's questionable claim that the #MegalithicArt of #Knowth, and by extension all Irish megalithic art, is purely geometric "non-representational art" that "cannot be understood", but this did cause Ken to try to discredit my hypotheses.
The #MegalithicArt carved into Kerbstone 86 on the upper left is almost identical to an off-center #AnnularEclipse, & the #RockArt "arcs" have been interpreted as a #Neolithic depiction of the mythical "solar boat" by Eamonn Kelly.
