Battling blustery winds and muddy paths, Katherine shared progress from the Cornish leg of her journey on BBC Radio Cornwall this morning. Listen from 1hr 48mins: www.bbc.co.uk/sounds/play/... #SoultoSole #LEJOG #Cornwall #RefugeesWelcome #CommunityMatters #BBCRadioCornwall
Day 3 done. Katherine has arrived in Padstow. 🎉🚶♀️
She is making her way along the north Cornish coast — and already, kindness and community is being felt (as are the first blisters. 🩹) Follow Katherine's journey and donate via the link in bio. 💙#SoulToSole #LEJOG #Cornwall #RefugeesWelcome

A very poor photo of five cyclists at the side of a road smiling and giving thumbs up.
This is the only photo I have of the #RideForTim, featuring @annacycles.bsky.social. A great ride from Livingston to Kelty (for me) whilst some of them went on to complete #LEJOG
Person with a bicycle, standing in a garden, wearing a sweatshirt labeled 'Age UK' and holding a helmet, with text overlay stating 'Cycling 1000 miles for Age UK'.
Four decades after his first cycle spanning the length of the UK , Julian took on the #LEJOG challenge, raising money for Age UK after seeing the impact of our services first hand.

1000 miles in 10 days!!! 😮"The tour proved much harder than expected! By the end, I climbed 56,000 feet, and spent 10 long days in the saddle. I've now raised over £7000!" What an absolute legend! #LetsBeatPSC #LEJOG #PSCSupport

Do take a look, and consider bumping up the fundraising total with a donation (to be split between Mind, Sustrans and Flight Free UK) ...

Along the way we'd ridden parts of the Taunton to Bridgwater canal, an old railway path near Cossington and finished the ride on the #strawberryline We stopped at the Railway Inn in Yatton where I said goodbye to Anna, Mark, Lorenzo and Jill as they made their way to their campstites #cycling #lejog
We rode across Somerset mostly using sustrans cycle routes, and after breakfast in Taunton, coffee in Bridgwater, we stopped for lunch in Mark which was pleased about #cycling #lejog
I had a lovely day yesterday riding with @annacycles.bsky.social Mark, Lorenzo and later her friend Jill joined us as well, as we rode from Taunton to Clevedon on day 5 of their LEJOG in memory of @timcyclesthecoast.bsky.social #cycling #lejog
Anna is cycling #LEJOG - please support if you can!
I've screenshot some thoughts I've had today and posted on Facebook about some cycling events I have in mind over the next couple of months. Something from this lot will happen, it's just trying to decide what and when 🚴♂️🤔 #cycling #bikeadventures #travelling #cycletouring #audax #lejog

Weer thuis na een fantastische wandelvakantie! We zijn 6 weken onderweg geweest van Land’s End (Cornwall, GB) tot net over de grens met Wales, met rugzak en tent. Volgend jaar weer verder! #wandelen #swcp #lejog #endtoend

I've finally got to the end of my #LEJOG and been amazed at the great folk there are the length and breath of Britain, beautiful scenery and much more. Here's the charities I'm raising money for: www.justgiving.com/page/phil-mo... & www.justgiving.com/page/phil-mo...
My final ride day of this #lejog tour. Day 13 - Inverness to Crask.
Woke up feeling terrible, full of the lurgy, which obviously got worse throughout the day. So chilled and kept well away from all the riders so they can smash the final leg tomorrow! ✌🏻🤙🏻

Another beautiful day. Another day on the bike for Peak Tours. 🥰
So far I’m really lucking out with how great the weather’s been for this #lejog tour. A cracking route today & so so pretty.
4 days in and all the riders are still smiling and loving it!👌🏻🤙🏻

First cycling tour working for Peak Tours & first successful day ticked off for #lejog.
It was great to ride the first day with everyone, & what a cracking start to what should be an epic experience for all 23 riders. They all smashed it today.🤩

I'm in awe of Sarah Ruggins' efforts to complete this feat. My own slow #LEJOG progress pales into insignificance in many ways - though is probably proving rather more enjoyable in terms of taking in views and dropping into nice pubs on the way!
Hi @rachelburden.bsky.social & @rickedwards1.bsky.social - something huge has happened for #cycling, for #Lejog and in our country.
Please can we get Sarah on the show this week?

There are two maps shown in the image, and they are titled 'Lands End to John O' Groats virtual walk'. One map is of the whole of the UK mainland with a trail running from the south west of England to northern Scotland. The trail has 100 mile markers along it. The total trail distance is 1188 miles / 1907km. Some of the trail is green, showing the route already walked, with the remainder coloured red. The other map is a close up version north of the Central Belt area in Scotland showing the same trail, with a closer view on where the 'walked' area ends. There is some text at the bottom summarising the distances already walked, which are: 989 miles / 1,591km The distance remaining is: 199 miles / 320km
Anyway here's the map. If I were actually following the #LEJOG route, I would have been walking the West Highland Way this month, and would have finished a few miles north of Fort William, having enjoyed some absolutely beautiful scenery.
Onwards and upwards!

Today Jo begins her 3-month, 2-million-step journey from Land’s End to John o’ Groats in memory of her mum, Barbara, who lived with #PSC for 50 years.
“This walk is for her... I’ll be walking with her in my heart the whole way.” 💚

Latest update on my (virtual) Lands End to John O'Groats walk. I know I'll forget to post tomorrow (the last day of the month) so updating today.
This month I managed 145 miles, which is my highest total so far. Had a few days away mid-month which let me get […]

Half way - roughly - through the steady trundle of my #LEJOG, enjoying Lancashire and the people and places on the way. Interesting to cross the river Lune by aqueduct in Lancaster.
