I don't think I like the new @bsky.app #verification feature. #labelers already provide a way for any entity to make assertions about an account and I'd like to see BlueSky lean into that rather than imitating Twitter.

Yea I mostly agree with that sentiment, although I think we can take advantage of up and coming #labelers which anyone can create their own to label content, then when you subscribe to them you can choose to warn or even hide particular content, so if someone posts for example political content 🧵
