In some #languagetesting news, the Pearson Test of English is bringing human raters in for some productive tasks. Very interesting (and encouraging) to see that limits of AI in scoring are being recognized and addressed. Big part of this is a need to detect 'template' responses.

Students in my undergraduate #languagetesting class created a Tagalog version of the Ortega et al (2002) EIT. Reading the pilot report now - early indication that it works as beautifully as every other version!
