A chart showing the number of words that I created per day of Lexember.
A pie chart showing the amount of words I created per week as a percentage of the total.
A breakdown of this year's #Lexember. I created a total of 225 words in #Lasat, for an average of 7.26 words a day. Left, the number of words I created each day, and right is the total number of words split up by week (I counted the 29th, 30th, and 31st as week 5). This was fun! And probably insane.
And finally, for the Conworkshop prompt "A toast to...", my very last word for #Lasat #Lexember. May this be the word that defines 2026.
dhawlidoon /ðo:.li.du:n/ adj. creative, imaginitive
from dhawlir /ðo:.liɹ/ v. to create, make, build and lidoon /li.du:n/ adj. much, many
romduth /ɹom.duθ/ n. well; waterhole, oasis from rom /ɹom/ n. water and duth /duθ/ n. hole dhawrumis /ðo:.ɹu.mis/ n. canal; aqueduct. from dhawlir /ðo:.liɹ/ v. to make or build and rumis /ɹu.mis/ n. river, stream romsoren /ɹom.so.ɹen/ n. fountain from rom (above) and soren /so.ɹen/ n. tree yalcho /jal.t͡ʃo/ n. steam from yal /jal/ adj. hot and ocho /o.t͡ʃo/ n. cloud, mist
Today's #Lasat #Lexember prompt for the r/conlangs prompt "Water". I'm still thinking about the Conworkshop prompt...
gooshromir /gu:.ʃɹo.miɹ/ v. to toast, to drink to from gooshar /gu:.ʃaɹ/ v. to celebrate or congratulate and romir /ɹo.miɹ/ v. to drink do’anzud /do.ʔan.zud/ n. firework from do’ak /do.ʔak/ n. sky and anzuda /an.zu.da/ v. to explode, detonate gatrom /ga.tɹom/ n. soup, thin stew, broth from gati /ga.ti/ n. food and rom /ɹom/ n. water
Happy New Year, everyone! For the last day of #Lasat #Lexember, here's my fill for @madelinejames.bsky.social 's prompt "Something associated with the turn of the year".
bembaz /bem.baz/ n. frost from bem /bem/ n. leaf and bazim /ba.zim/ n. ice bazrahdz /baz.ɹa:d͡z/ n. icicle from bazim (above) and rahdz /ɹa:d͡z/ n. tooth tonduthrahdz /ton.duθ.ɹa:d͡z/ n. stalactite, stalagmite from tonduth /ton.duθ/ n. cave and rahdz (above) I also expanded the meaning of the word bazla /ba.zla/ to include the meanings "to harden, solidify". It already meant "to freeze".
And finally, the r/conlangs #Lexember prompt was "Ice and Coolth". Stalactites/mites aren't necessarily related to this theme, but it felt like the word followed on naturally from icicle. #Lasat
kati /ka.ti/ v. reveal, uncover, expose A priori, though scholars have theorized a relation to the word tisiv /ti.siv/ n. cover, top, lid. jothkusva /d͡ʒoθ.kus.va/ v. to crawl, to creep; to scuttle from jothak /d͡ʒo.θak/ n. floor, foundation and kusva /kus.va/ v. to climb; to grip or cling to pekata /pe.ka.ta/ v. to surrender, submit, or yield from pega /pe.ga/ v. to lose and kati (above) drendrooch /dɹen.dɹu:t͡ʃ/ n. bracer (An armor component that covers either the upper or lower arm). from drendag /dɹen.dag/ n. armour and rooch /ɹu:t͡ʃ/ n. arm
For the Conworkshop #Lexember prompt, "Themeless". kati is one of the words that I've wanted to put a meaning to in #Lasat for ages. Just one of those left, fono - I'll have to think about what I want to do with that one.
sembudsat /sem.bud.sat/ n. priest(ess), religious leader from sembe /sem.be/ v. to ask, pray, or beg; udie /u.di.e/ n. song, chant; and -sat /sat/ aff. “person who x”. This word is gender neutral. bastalman /ba.stal.man/ n. matriarch, clan mother; chief, leader from bastal /ba.stal/ n. clan, household, lineage and aman /a.man/ n. mother. This word is only applied to a woman. It is unusual for other genders to lead clans, however it does sometimes happen: the word is then bastaldan for a man and bastalyan for an individual of the Lasat third gender teeso. The clan leader does not always have to be biologically related to anyone else in the clan, nor do they have to be the oldest person.
For @madelinejames.bsky.social 's #Lexember prompt "A role in society", some worldbuilding for #Lasat that I've written about on other sites.
And finally, the r/conlangs #Lexember post for today was "Mineral dyes". #Lasat

sazi /sa.zi/ int. “Hello”. from ve saina zik, /ve sai.na zik/ “I greet you”. ayon jomag /a.jon d͡ʒo.mag/ int. good morning. Usually used in the early morning. ayon korsas /a.jon koɹ.sas/ int. good day. Generic formal greeting. ayon chlu /a.jon t͡ʃlu/ int. good night. Greeting used at night. All of these words existed previously, I just put them together to make these formal greetings. nira /ni.ɹa/ v. to bow. This specifically refers to a gesture in which the bower puts one fist into the other palm then bows slightly, as opposed to vokra which is more similar to full prostration/ a kowtow. The nira bow is most appropriate to exchange between equals. From aynir /ai.niɹ/ v. to honour, venerate, or respect.
Zeb demonstrating how to "nira". He has his left fist in his right palm, with the fingers of his right hand curled over his left hand. He is bowing from the waist.
For @madelinejames.bsky.social 's #Lexember prompt "A formal greeting", I've been meaning to work on "Hello" and other greetings. In the 2nd image, #Lasat speaker Zeb demonstrates how to nira. (Disclaimer again as I do not own this character, I'm just a fan and not associated w/ Disney).
Last but not least, just one #Lasat word for the r/conlangs #Lexember prompt "Vegetable Dyes".

That's equivalent to pulling at least 27.2 kilos, possibly as high as 83.9 kilos. (Apologies if my maths isn't great...) kuthas /ku.θas/ n. stairs, ladder from kusva /kus.va/ v. to climb, grip, hang on and thasor /θa.soɹ/ n. board, plank akbarsodh /ak.baɹ.soð/ n. prison, gaol from akbar /ak.baɹ/ v. to trap or catch and sodhaw /so.ðo:/ n. building

On her hair is a jagsef /d͡ʒag.sef/ n. ornament, decoration, jewellery from jagsefa /d͡ʒag.se.fa/ v. to decorate or embellish. At her waist is a karnuv /kaɹ.nuv/ n. purse, sporran from karn /kaɹn/ n. body and uvui /u.vu.i/ n. pouch, bag Both she and Gron are modelling a kradhagni /kɹa.ðag.ni/ n. collar, neck piece; gorget from kradh /kɹað/ n. neck, throat and dagni /dag.ni/ n. blanket, sheet
To fill @madelinejames.bsky.social 's #Lexember prompt for today, I've enlisted the help of #Lasat speakers Chava and Gron to model for me.
(Disclaimer: I do not own these characters. This is a fanmade project and any opinions expressed by me about them are not those of the Disney Corporation).
And finally, the r/conlangs #Lexember prompt was "Animal dyes". #Lasat
safu /sa.fu/ n. urine

During the course of working on this prompt, I discovered that I had two words with the exact same meaning of "wood, timber, lumber", pasol and sorat.
