…don’t have to worry about those in adult 1-2 running into us, cutting across our circle, etc. It also means we get more time with the coach, since she is bringing on another coach for adult 1-2.

Can’t wait for the next session to begin on Jan 10th!

My forwards and backwards crossovers are improving! Still struggling with the second (under) push though.

It’s going to take a lot longer to learn a hockey stop and two foot turn properly. I can only do them at very slow speed. 😂

Yesterday at #learntoskate, the ice was really bumpy from a hockey game right before —resulting in some falls, me included — and the newer adults kept cutting into the small circle the coach drew on the ice for two others and I. On a good note, it forced me to be more aware…

Another session of #learntoskate started today at the rink I go to. Of course, I signed up because I have been having fun learning the past 11 months. There were a lot more new adults today! Thankfully the coach separated us into two groups so we didn’t get in each other’s way. Space was limited. 😅

Passed adult #LearntoSkate level 6, which means I graduate to the free skate levels - basically I am no longer a beginner ice skater and am now a beginner figure skater!! I am going to start working on the first jump, called a waltz (half rotation) in the next month. I am so excited!!!
