Also, “a tope”. Tope is the rim of something, the last edge of possible fullnes.
“Estar a tope” is like being on fire.
And just “¡A tope!” can be like an encouragement cry, or a celebration of something related.

Political speeches tend to be more comprehensible because politicians tend to:
- speak more clearly
- use simpler language, logical constructions, and grammar as it's taught
- refer to abstract concepts which are often cognates

For the subjunctive present tense of IR/ER verbs, add the AR endings below to the indicative present tense stem of the "yo" verb form.
AR verbs take IR/ER endings for subjunctive.
