#librariesforprimaries When they knocked down my daughter's lovely old primary with its library and designated access times when parents could come in and read with their kids they replaced it with a soulless metal box. It could apparently go into security lockdown in minutes. They was no library.

NLT's vital #LibrariesForPrimaries scheme harnesses the power of publishers & others to provide books & train teachers in those far-too-many primaries on level 0, offering pupils no library services. School libraries should 💯be statutory, as public & prison libraries are.
