About three years ago I quit my office job, after recovering from emergency surgery and realizing all I want to do is to draw and write. Almost every day since then was a learning experience, and I bow my head to everyone who is illustrating.

Ok, I've finished the prolog for lil:override. And I'm excited to continue, but let's celebrate this new start. It took me 11 months to rewrite a story that was essentially finished, and now I'll illustrate it.
Foster, my Main Character, waking up with a gasp and almost scaring the Capybara away. But this is the bravest Capy ever, so it just flops the ears and waits.

Here is a view at a wip-page. Stickfigures are the way to start, then comes a sketch, then sleep - and the next day redrawing the sketch (in vectors). It's maddening that I need this process, but it's the only way, or else everything looks skewed.
Zorn-Tower is a pointy skyscraper placed on a star-shaped artificial island off the Atlantic Coast. It's the place where lil-book 1 ends and lil-book 2 begins. And I'm starting with book 2 - welcome to the Loop ;)
