I note that the BBC seem to be doing the very best they can to avoid gendering the victim at all when they quote her. They only use her name. It's really obvious when they liberally use pronouns for both the Judge and #Linehan. Hell, Brooks' statement gets a pronoun, and she doesn't. #transphobia

Linehan is currently on trial, charged with offences relating to a different incident. #PiersMorgan #Uncensored is on UK #Channel5 the one #Linehan performed in was a full one and a half hours long. Said at the time #Parkinson's shows never got that long and when he did overrun, the running joke was that they stole the extra time as the caretaker hadn't noticed their still blethering.
