So I've finally written a SpeechAnalyzer service to be the primary with a fallback on WhisperKit depending on certain cases (device model and so on). But on the same device, holy s*t, Apple's SpeechAnalyzer is insanely fast.

TIL about Apple’s LinguisticTagger while cleaning up video transcription word counts for LogCam. It’s been around since iOS 12 and does a great job with punctuations and language boundaries (English and many others).

Glu Sight and LogCam icons hold up well in the new UI, though I see a few areas to refine. Overall, iOS 26 feels solid. Nice polish across the board. Looking forward to testing deeper.
