Today I discovered #PieFed. It's a link aggregator like #Lemmy or #KBin ( Which has become #MBin ?), and it federates with those services, but has its own take on the user experience that I actually quite like.

Hey @Gargron it looks like Mastodon doesn't display Lemmy or mbin posts properly. Commenters indicate they do display properly when viewed with Misskey.

Complaining about #ActivityPub and the #Fediverse again, but I just got reminded about this:
How come #MBin and #Lemmy are both based on #Reddit and not on the concept of a SubReddit? Now there are several instances based on niche subjects with further subdivisions on said niche subjects.

Just FYI, they put it up a few weeks ago as a temporary measure, since they started getting hit heavily by bots and AI scrapers, I know that the instance admin is in touch with #Mbin dev team to get some code optimisations done.
