Nintendo Switch 2’s Used Games Ban Could Be The Xbox One All Over Again Nintendo has sprung a new anti-piracy measure on Switch 2 owners that runs the risk of reviving an early controversy for the Xbox One.

The #Switch2 #MigFlash cart controversy just keeps on going. Long story short: someone bought a used #Switch1 game, played it on brand new #Switch2 and got banned by #Nintendo because apparently the Switch1 cart had been cloned using MigFlash as detected by Nintendo.

Warning as some people are returning bricked Switch 2 consoles after MiG carts Nintendo recently took the decision to ban some Nintendo Switch 2 consoles after they were found to be running MiG Cartridges. The ban means that you can not access any of the Nintendo Switch Online…

It's already becoming an issue where people are reselling or returning bricked #Switch2. They were bricked by #Nintendo because of #MIGFlash usage. Be very careful when buying open box or used Switch 2 on #eBay or even big box stores.

Nintendo is banning online services on Switch 2 systems that use the Mig cartridge Your console, but not your account, will be banned.

If you use a #MIGFlash device on your #Switch2 you could get your Switch2 perma-banned. It's device used for running homebrew/backing up your Switch games to MicroSD cards similar to R4. It can also can be used to run pirated games. There are no appeals. #Nintendo
