Exploring Similarities and Differences Between Methods That Exploit Patterns of Local Genetic Correlation to Identify Shared Causal Loci Through Application to Genome‐Wide Association Studies of Multiple Long Term Conditions Genetic correlation analysis can provide useful insight into the shared genetic basis between traits or conditions of interest. However, most genome-wide analyses only inform about the degree of glob...

We had a really varied panel discussion touching on the issues faced by those with #MLTC and how things could be improved. A role for medication reviews, and the social and education systems were emphasised as was the importance of active patients and support for self care.

The message from the #MLTC #PPIE panel: 1) Better #health education, information & encourage self-advocacy for patients & carers, 2) Link all #data together, across health & #socialcare, #dentistry etc so health & social care professionals can make better informed decisions for individual patients
