(사진=KBSN) 양측이 체결한 이번 업무협약은 각자가 보유한 방송·미디어 분야 전문성과 인프라를 결합해 교육과 연구 협력을 강화하는 데 목적이 있다. 이를 통해 콘텐츠 경쟁력을 높이고 산업 발전에 실질적으로 기여할 수 있는 기반을 마련하겠다는 구상이다. 우선 두 기관은 방송·미디어 분야 전문 인력 양성을 위한 교육 협력에 나선다. 현장실습과 인턴십, 취업 연계, 재직자 교육, 전문가 특강, 기술 지도 등을 연계해 학생들이 산업 현장에서 요구되는 실무 역량을 직접 습득할 수 있는 환경을 조성한다는 계획이다. 콘텐츠 차원에서는 방송 및 디지털 미디어 콘텐츠 공동 기획과 제작, 연구 협력 등이 추진된다. 방송 개발과 공동 제작, 연구용역, 제작 기술 교류 등을 포함해 현장 경험과 교육 과정이 맞닿는 협업 모델을 마련하기로 했다. 또 산학협력 기반 사업체와 연계된 프로젝트 및 사업도 함께 진행한다. 정부와 공공 영역 사업 참여, 공동 사업 발굴 등을 통해 교육기관과 사업자가 함께 참여하는 과제를 만들고, 여기에서 나온 경험을 다시 교육과 산업 현장에 환류하는 구조를 지향한다. 정보와 인력 교류도 협력 항목에 포함됐다. 방송·미디어 산업의 흐름을 공유하고 실무자를 연결하는 네트워크를 구축함으로써, 교육과 산업 간 소통 창구를 넓히겠다는 것이다. 이강덕 대표이사는 미디어 산업 변화 속에서 이번 협력이 갖는 의미를 짚었다. 그는 “미디어 산업 환경이 빠르게 재편되는 가운데 산업과 교육의 전략적 연계는 필수 과제”라며 “이번 협약을 통해 현장 중심의 실무 역량을 갖춘 인재 양성 기반을 공고히 하고, KBS N의 콘텐츠 제작 경험과 플랫폼 운영 역량을 교육 현장과 적극 공유하겠다”고 밝혔다. 김상교 총장은 특성화 대학으로서의 과제를 언급하며 협력 의지를 드러냈다. 그는 “방송‧예술 특성화 교육기관으로서 산업 현장과의 실질적인 연계는 매우 중요한 과제”라며 “KBS N과의 협력을 통해 학생들이 현장에서 요구하는 역량을 체계적으로 함양하고, 공동 프로젝트를 통해 교육과 산업이 선순환하는 모델을 구축해 나가겠다”고 말했다. 양 기관은 이번 업무협약을 출발점으로 상호 신뢰를 바탕에 둔 지속 가능한 협력 체계를 마련한다는 방침이다. 세부 사업은 향후 단계적으로 구체화하며, 교육과 콘텐츠 제작, 사업 협력이 함께 이어지는 형태로 확장해 나갈 계획이다.
