The 2023 ninth #MPavilion in the #QueenVictoriaGardens by Tadeo Ando. Seven previous MPavilions have been re-erected (one in #RMIT #Brunswick) and are places for casual use, gatherings and events.

Trip to #RMIT #Brunswick campus: tram, takeaway coffee (from the cafe under #Nightingale #BrunswickEast, 2019, ClarkeHopkinsClarke), bus, the #MPavilion in the lovely courtyard.

The 10th and final #MPavilion is it is final week. What next for it? Unlike all previous designs, it’s unlikely going to be disassembled and moved. Will it face the wrecking ball? Or will it be a permanent fixture of Queen Victoria Gardens?

Last year’s #MPavilion, designed by Bangkok-based all(zone), led by Rachaporn Choochuey, has been gifted and re-erected at #RMITBrunswick. And how splendid it looks in the central courtyard!

This is what I wanted! I told them I like coffee, lemon & chocolate. They gave me a scoop of number 5 & although it tasted very nice, I could not tell you what the flavour was. Maybe it had a smidge of licorice (btw, Bsky does NOT like the word licorice) but I don’t know what it was. #MPavilion
