STORY: It was Valentines Day, Drago knew that much. His parents celebrated that holiday with their usual dates and night outs to fancy restaurants or watching their favorite films on the bed. Drago never really experienced what it was like to be someone’s Valentine so he never really paid it no mind, though there was always a small pit in his stomach that he never understood. Drago had just come back from a usual Salmon Run and was exhausted. It was the one thing that kept his mind off the season. As he trudged back in his usual Inkling Form, he saw couples of many types, being all lovey dovey with one another. Drago also saw a blue inkling couple wearing a kimono hugging one another. He was happy for them, bearing no ill will, but he also wondered what it’d be like to experience such a thing. No time for that though, he was tired and needed a shower. He headed over to Pearls Mansion, was let in, and he headed inside. Just in time too, as it started to pour. He put his stuff away and greeted Pearl and Marina, who were there just enjoying some Ink Leaf Tea. He greeted them and headed upstairs to shower. After that, he put on some pjs and walked out of his room and into the main living room. This place was good enough, Drago thought, and so he rested on the floor. A while later, Marina passed by, wearing her own PJs and was about to head into her studio to make some music. That’s when she saw Drago sleeping. She thought it must be lonely to be like that, so she got him a pillow and a large blanket. After that, she was about to continue on when she stopped. She turned and looked to Drago and something just came over her. She laid down and got into the covers with him. Despite his scary appearance in his True Form, Drago was kind, caring, and affectionate. Marina snuggled up to Drago and then began to fall asleep herself to the pitter-patter of the windows besieged by the rain. Pearl would take a photo of this later and tease them both.
Happy Valentines Day everyone. I wanted to do something sweet with my OC, Drago, so I decided to make this. It’s called Amor in Pluvia, and it features Drago and Marina from Off the Hook, sleeping together on a rainy Valentines Day.
