It hoped 150,000 people would complete the checker by the end of 2025.

The charity found more people are discovering they have CKD stage 2 or 3 without knowing what it means for them.
They were not told by their GP.
Instead, they saw the diagnosis on the NHS App or found out by accident via another healthcare professional.

A targeted approach to non-responders for cervical screening increased bookings by 9%.
The same increase was seen in lung cancer screening. The approach also broke the link between income and uptake.

Appt Health's patient engagement service designed to address access barriers.
The approach was then adapted to move away from "one-size-fits-all" to a tailored, patient-centred approach.
Co-design workshops are central to the approach.

Hector says cancer screening programmes are falling short of their potential.
Deprivation is linked with higher cancer incidence and lower rates of screening uptake.
Women from ethnic minorities are almost 6 times more likely to be non attenders of cervical screening.
