Pioneers and pathbreakers: Black History milestones at Michigan Medicine As part of the celebration and examination of U-M medical history, an overview of some of the key Black Americans who learned, taught, worked and led at the Medical School and beyond.

Advertisement discussing "consumption, scrofula, hypochondria, insanity, gout, king's evil, and other and worse diseases"

An 1850s ad talked about scrofula and the king's evil as separate conditions. My understanding is that scrofula & the king's evil were the same thing (Tuberculous lymphadenitis).

Has anyone seen them being treated as distinct?
