The idea behind this was:
An AU where Uther dies instead of Ygraine. Balinor remains a Lord in her court and still meets Hunith, and they have Merlin. Meanwhile, Ygraine raises Arthur alongside Nimueh. Arthur and Merlin are inseparable friends from childhood, prince and dragonlord's son.
