Two Pools Two hot springs in the Middle Group of the Heart Lake Geyser Vasin.

One of the joys of #backpacking in #Yellowstone is having #hydrothermal features to yourself. These are #hotsprings of the #MiddleGroup in #HeartLakeGeyserBasin.

Trail is 3 miles (4.8km) long. I saw three people on way out, two on way back.

Middle Group Several hot springs in the Middle Group of the Heart Lake Geyser Basin, Yellowstone National Park.

A group of hot springs from the #MiddleGroup of the #HeartLakeGeyserBasin in #Yellowstone.

I met five backpackers (two parties) here, so I didn't quite have the place all to myself. This spot is probably a 12-mile (19 km) day hike.
