One of our discussions this week in 7th gr. was about the impact of setting on plot. In comparing time periods, I explained that in this play there were no cell phones, microwaves, computers, Google maps, etc.

Group at the Puff Poll this morning. 1 accidentally knocks over the puff bowl, spilling them across people’s feet, etc. Knocker starts to pick them up, while at least 6 kids stand there watching. Had to ask if they were going to help before they actually moved.
