This mornings temperature when we got up was 33 degrees on our back porch here in #MiddleTennessee and still cloudy. The northerly winds blew all night and continue today. The sun finally drove the clouds away. It's going to be an inside kind of day for me.

It's mostly cloudy and windy this morning here in #MiddleTennessee. The temperature now is 70 degrees on our back porch. So far this morning....I've been lollygagging, now accomplishing anything productive...unless you can count enjoying all of the beauties in our yard.

Yesterday's #sunset sky here in #MiddleTennessee. Not exactly sure how warm we were but somewhere around 80 degrees. It's mostly sunny this morning but we're expecting thunderstorm by afternoon. I'm looking forward to hearing the thunder⛈️

This dark cloud in yesterday's sunset sky here in #MiddleTennessee looked ominous. Reminded me of photos I've seen after bombs were dropped on countries. I've never before had such a sense of unease and dread of what our future holds.

A craving of greens in Spring must be built into my DNA. All this is available at the grocery story all year round now......but that #greenscraving always happens when the days start getting longer and the weather gets warmer.

We had a nice sunny day here in #MiddleTennessee. Not sure what the temperature got up to, probably around 60 degrees. That sun sure can work magic on the snow melting and probably your spirits also.

Our next door neighbor has a row of gorgeous #daffodils in their front yard. I envy them. I don't know what happened to the ones I used to have. These can be spotted along the roadside, in fields, at old homesites. I just enjoy them where ever I can find them.

Our #WinterStormFern yard clean up continues when the weather allows and when we have the energy. Today we finished with dislodging and stacking all the broken pine tree limbs on the final pine tree, smaller debris burned in barrel. Perfect weather. #2oldfolks #MiddleTennessee

Yesterday at #sunset the sky was filled with beautiful colors in every direction...North, South, East and West. Impossible to capture the awesomeness of it in photos. Best experienced in person.

It's been a nice sunny days here in #MiddleTennessee. High about 60 but no wind blowing so we were able to get some debris burned. Not going to be able to do much with the pine tree limbs. Just tried to make some neater piles underneath the trees until we can get them cut. Slow going👴👵

Finally.......we've finished cleaning up the mess around these three pine trees. We've had some nice weather here in #MiddleTennessee the past few days, not as warm today but sunny with highs in lower 50's. Slow clean up from #WinterStormFern for these two old folks👴👵

We had some rain overnight here in #MiddleTennessee but our low was 40 degrees, so no freezing. Highs here will only be in the lower 50's today, not as warm as the past two were. We'll be outside a few hours continuing out #WinterStormFern cleanup.

It's a beautiful sunny day here in #MiddleTennessee and the temperature is in the upper 60's🌞 Saying good riddance to the last of the ice from #WinterStormFern!! We've been outside doing a little tree branch clean up this afternoon.....LITTLE being the key word. Us old folks can't last long👴👵

We took an afternoon drive on Natchez Trace Parkway. Lots of damaged trees from #WinterStormFern, some sections worse than others. Three photos at our favorite stops, The Tobacco Farm (mile marker #401.4) and Swan View Overlook (mile marker #392.5)
