If anyone has a Eurohike tent, my advice would be to erect it & start your water hose on it for a while. It will probably leak terribly. My Shadow 350 offered almost no rain barrier on its 3rd music festival (and first proper wet one). I complained but..

Global Centre of Excellence on Millets to come up in Hyderabad Hyderabad, May 23 (SocialNews.XYZ) A Global Centre of Excellence on Millets will come up at the ICAR-Indian Institute of Millets Research (IIMR) in Hyderabad, it was announced on Friday. The Centre has sanctioned Rs. 250 crore to establish for the purpose, Union Minister for Coal and Mines G. Kishan Reddy said. Union Minister for Agriculture & Farmers Welfare and Rural Development Shivraj Singh Chouhan has written to Kishan Reddy that the Central government has sanctioned the funds to establish the Global Centre of Excellence.

Could it help to use loanwords, like proso, to help establish identities for #millets as crops & foods? E.g.
* bajra/bajri (India) = pearl millet, Pennisetum glaucum
* xiaomi (China) = foxtail millet, Setaria italica
* ragi (India) = finger millet, Eleusine coracana

Interesting item (among many) reflecting evolving public understanding of #millets. First time I've seen "proso" listed rather than "proso millet" in a diagram of grains. No problem (see 🧵). But then noted "millet," separately, w/ image resembling pearl millet
