Two mini Appaloosa horses, on opposite sides of a square wooden feed bin, which they both have their heads down in, grazing at the fresh hay. The horses are in an indoor paddock arena, with fencing to the back of them. Appaloosas are spotted horses. These two appear mostly white, but the one on the right has black and grey spots, with a white mane and tail, and the other has chestnut spots, with grey legs and grey ombré mane and tail. They have their noses buried in the feed box up to their ears.
Horses can co regulate our nervous systems, providing oxytocin and dopamine. Equine therapy aims to give support for ASD, ADHD, PTSD, POTS, long covid, and other forms of CNS disorders.
I wish I could go every day and I wish i could give this type of therapy to everyone who needs it.
