Maureen O'Brien has a fruity accent, there are terrific lines, theres a pig as the main character, its clearly well written....but i just don't like this. It's far too long and not much happens, Ep2 seemed to go on forever. Sweet's shorter J&L eps pack a much bigger punch than this one. #MiniKettle
Another tremendous pure historical, Purejoy is terrifying and vicious as Vlad. Erimem and Peri's differing POVs are the highlights of this trio, such a shame Morris isn't acting anymore. Give them some Turkish delight 😂 love the 4 pre titles structure. The servant being sent to jail 😱 #MiniKettle
Im not a romantic movie person but Evelyn breaks your heart, she is hard on the Doc, but her character is REAL throughout. Her revelations later in the story 😪 Rossiter is the perfect counterbalance to her. Oh Tokol!! 😂 Doc squirming with a romance and skimming stones 😂 brilliant Baker #MiniKettle
Docs convo with the silent guard is classic McCoy. Braxiatel is a mysterious character and the 'pleasantries' at the end hint at the complex relationship to come with the regulars... The old plans are always the best 😎 Benny always gets the best lines 😂 those statues are creepy as #MiniKettle
2. A wonderful performance from Sylvester as the Doctor, musing to himself in the TARDIS and being an enigmatic presence to both sisters. His pronunciation of 'bloood fllowwerrrr'👌 Olssen doesnt alter her voice, its the headhunter! Clever episode, i loved it #MiniKettle
1. Movie foreshadowing! 😱 the Dar traders are creepy devils. 7 is best on his own, and McCoy is fab, but the recurring melodramarics crept in on P3 🙈 some great hard sci fi ideas. When Ridley removes his helmet 😱 Olssen is in everything! Yeah his life is NOT quiet. Wonder where we end up #MiniKettle
Very grim setting, Philipe Olivier plays Hex with a sensitivity which is so endearing, he just wants to help people. McCoy toning down his rant moments adds so much more gravitas. Theres not much Nightingale! Chopping up X! Is there only 1 actor available to BF to be Russian? 🤷♂️ #MiniKettle
2. Superb hour of Who with many turns you won't see coming, Davison's Doctor is proper nasty here and he clearly loves playing it. Nyssa working for the Daleks is so disconcerting. Security has never been the Daleks strong point 😂 i have my theory on the voice 🧐 this plan would work! #MiniKettle
1. Great, curious P1 but P2 dragged. Cover art just made me think there were lots of Mr Sweets around 😂 have the Daleks been talking to The Master in this era? Their plan is bonkers! The baddie character isnt thinking - won't they have died too? 🤷♂️Davo has a great speech, has outrage too! #MiniKettle
Outstanding character piece, this is a tour de force from Terry Molloy who is, frankly, terrifying. Bernard Horsfall also adds a lot of class as the foolish Baines. The flashbacks show how utterly evil and misguided Davros is, from his Hitler like rants to maniacial laughing. Just wow. #MiniKettle
Right up my street - its theatrical, has heightened characters and is very well written, with such funny dialogue. Nyssa pretending to ge a mercenary has to be heard to be believed! 😂 oh i give up! 😂😂 the assassin is absolutely useless. Tegan is probed about her travels at last. #MiniKettle
The planet of John Cleese in Clockwise! 😁 the modern fast world turned to extreme. I love these P1s where the regulars just explore. Ronald Pickup is perfect as the weary king and Tracey Childs...well is Tracey Childs (ie always brilliant). Some bad time puns 😂 cant stand ticking clocks #MiniKettle
4. 6 has quite a bit of grumpy needle in this. The villains are unbelievably stupid and arrogant, but their methods of attack are pretty cool. Poor Jago having to tell her to buzz off 😎👍 yippee to the ending, corks! 🥳 Leela should just permanently stay, she is so fab in this setting #MiniKettle
3. Intriguing Sapphire and Steel vibes this one with spooks and time shenanigans, the dialogue is superb and the imagery potent. Can't say i got all the technobabble but i got the jist 😂 Leela again steals this with her colourful rant to empty The Red Tavern 😂 Dark really is such a fool🙈 #MiniKettle

Gothic comic book with lots of jokes, I found this v entertaining with David Harewood clinging onto power and Eva Pope threatening people. Another great score 👍 Doc and Mary are apart too much. Why didnt he have that chair destroyed? I dont think being bones is better, hes crackers 😂 #MiniKettle
Kid, McGann tears strips off him! He does have a tender moment too. Why does CAF saying 'grandfather' in her voice bring me out in hives? 😂 You fear for the Doc. Daleks have cracking big ideas, the Master could learn a thing or two! #MiniKettle

Stephen Grief sounds like Ian Collier when modulated. Traken was such a fascinating but oh so boring place back then, with ineffectual Dulkin like people. Nice reconning on Nyssas psychic abilities in S19. Sedate build up before P4. Did Kwundaar look that gruesome to make the Doc scream? #MiniKettle
4. You just have to listen to this one, a beautiful part to the 5th Doctor. The ending is v emotional and Nyssa proves why she was the best companion for Davo (imo). Ain't saying anything else 😂 #MiniKettle
2. So enlightening as I had no idea Newton was also involved in coinage. David Warner is brilliant in the scene where Newton makes his Colombo like deductions. Did the guard ever get his meal i wonder? 😂 Nyssa is so much better when not having to compete with other companions for time. #MiniKettle

Finding out about Peri's background and where she came from, this is glorious, NB aces the material. Claudia Christensen as her mother is very well cast. Still slightly acidic sixie has some questionable lines! A bit silly keeping that artefact 🙈 tremendous 🎸 That final scene 😪 #MiniKettle

This is a gorgeous movie. The best Tegan has ever been portrayed, her banter with Turlough and her one liners 😂 Nyssas grief is heartbreaking. Turlough gets out the uniform, yay! The exotic richness of this tale is intoxicating. The soundscape magnificent. Colonel slapping them! 😳 #MiniKettle
