Incoming rant:
Next week, we *LOSE* an hour ("spring ahead" yuck) and we'll be in PDT (Pacific Daylight [Saving] Time)... sigh.
That will be GMT -07, unfortunately. I hate this so much. Anyone that thinks DST is better is uneducated and I'm not going to argue.
If you think DST is better, then you're either 1) retired, 2) a golfer, 3) so rich that you don't have to work, 4) uneducated and/or believe everything the government tells you :P
The only other reason is you're stuck in an area that doesn't align with the longitude line assigned time zones. There is a lot of that in the US... such as in Michigan. Michigan should be all in CENTRAL TIME ZONE but they force that entire state into Eastern Time zone, making sunshine last past 10pm during the summers. It's ridiculous. Indiana and most of Ohio is also part of this problem... among other states.
