Days #541-545 of Our Epic Trip We camped next to radioactive waste, saw a squat toilet, and marveled at the phallic shaped rock formations.

“In my travels” a retrospective of places I’ve been since I’ve had this phone. Got to cross Santa Fe and Arches National Park off my bucket list, caping an escape room install in LA back in early April.

"Mlll Creek Spires," monotone black and white acrylic painting on wood panel from 2010. Rock formations in Moab, Utah, situated at the entrance to the canyon just below where the North Fork and the South Fork of the creeks conjoin.

I was seated just above the ruins of the old power dam, which is a beloved subject for photographers.

I still have a tendency to call these rock formations swells. As in a great wave. The image is of a pretty enigmatic rock feature, exhibiting a classic blue-black desert varnish on the left, a large section of it spalled off about midway in. The stone is reddish tan to buff colors, with areas which are near-black. The swirling nature of these features are fairly common in the redrock country of the Four Corners region.

I'm going to do some makeup re-posting tonight, as I'm still learning the ropes in Bluesky🦋 I've made this image in honor of #EastCoastKin. Thanks y'all! More Running Water ≈ For some waves are set in stone, after Time 🦉⬇️
