Classic #DeepPurple track #SmokeOnTheWater released in 1972 was inspired by an event from #ThisDayInHistory in 1971. A concertgoer at #MontreuxCasino in #Switzerland, during a show by #FrankZappa & the #MothersOfInvention, fired a flaregun into the ceiling, destroying the venue.
