Single-phase air-cooled stator with permanent magnet rotor. Old school for a 2011 bike.
Rectifier/Regulator
Narrowed the charging issue down to the rectifier/regulator.
Single-phase air cooler Ducati Energia stator produced 79V AC at 4000rpm. 0.2 ohms and no leak to ground.
Voltage across battery terminals only 12.4V DC at 4000rpm.
New part on the way.

Time for #emotionalsupport: The #V9 was for shaft inspection because we reached 20KKM. So far so good, but they found out that the clutch will be done in the near future...estimated costs: 4K CHF (the new bike was about 10K) - I am quite frustrated. The #MotoGuzzi was built in 22... 😵💫😱😩
The gear box needs a lot of attention, esp. switching from higher to lower gear needs experience and feeling.

Some more progress with the #MotoGuzzi #Griso. Not quite as much as I’d hoped. Still fighting the front disc and I’m gonna make the pipes chrome - as they left the factory…
Most important Learning for me:
My plans to purchase an ADV bike (like the #MotoGuzzi #V85TT) have been put on hold. All these bikes feel too big and clumsy. I will wait until #MotoGuzzi builds a #Scrambler like the #Stornello again (alternatively: Convert a V7 to a Scrambler)
