I love the geekiness of the North American Catalysis Society. Most conferences have bronze, silver, and gold sponsors. #NAM29 has Rhodium sponsors above Gold, because Rhodium is 5x more valuable as a catalyst than Gold (e.g. it’s better at three-way catalytic converters for NOₓ reduction).
