Anyone want to provide logical explanation for the increase of the phrase "voices in my head" in #NGRAM Books index after the year 2000?

I used Spanish books and English 📚. Portuguese haven't been indexed.

Brilliant: #Leibniz Institute für Deutsche Sprache @leibniz-gemeinschaft.de has a really awesome #nGram analysis platform & demo, in German with zero anglicisms, funny examples ("Merkel & Markus", "sloppy bavarians", etc.), and zero exaggerating #bullshit.

Recently I've combined various functions which I've been using in other projects (e.g. my personal PKM toolchain) and published them as new library https://thi.ng/text-analysis for better re-use:

Fellow finicky writers: Do you prefer "advance notice" or "advanced notice"?

Both are attested. But FYI, #ngram says that "advance notice" is much more common, even if it's in decline […]

My #WordOf2024 is #Ableism ( although #brainrot is pretty much equal) and it’s not been around very long as a word, the practice is eons old…I do love an #ngram #googlebooks

Hubble Deep Field from 1996 could be argued to have quantifiably changed thinking. There was a concomitant steep and sustained increase in the incidence of "billions of galaxies" and "billions of stars" in the English language from 1996 onward.

#ngram

Random: Checked Google Ngram to see the usage of “naive” vs. “naïve”.

That’s quite the turnaround starting at the new millennium. Anyone know about this sudden massive surge in popularity for the diaeresis/umlaut?
