If Tim Houston was serious about fixing healthcare, he'd waive the licensing fees for new graduates for healthcare related industries. We shouldn't have to pay $1000 for a licensing exam only to pay another $1000 in assorted licensing fees to become actually able to work.

I have been cruising the #NSHealth blood collection booking site to make an appointment. I did not realize the difference between availability of appointments in HRM and elsewhere. Middleton: Jan 13, Truro: Jan 13 – then all booked up. HRM: availability most days between now and early January.
