Nevada’s 9% live entertainment tax is charged on tickets to events like music concerts, theatre productions, magic shows, and sporting events. But exemptions to the tax abound. And not all sporting events are treated equally.

Sadly, Governor Lombardo is offended that we'd prefer public money to go into public education. His state is ranked 48th in per pupil funding with the largest class sizes in the nation. Education is economic development, and it's a better investment than hollywood movie studios. #NVleg
