Ein dunkler Holzfußboden. Darauf das Buch »Die wilde Anomalie. Spinozas Entwurf einer freien Gesellschaft« von Antonio Negri aus dem Verlag Wagenbach. Die Schrift ist weiß und gelb auf schwarzem Grund. Bebildert ist das Buch mit einem schwarz-weiß Bild, welches Gelb eingefärbt ist. Dieses zeigt ein vermutlich städtisches Gebäude mit einem Platz aus der Neuzeit. Auf dem Platz aus der Ferne ein größere Gruppe von Menschen.

Gegen eine historizistische Vorstellung eines Übergangs, der an die Entwicklung oder »Reife« des Kapitalismus geknüpft wäre, unterstreicht Negri die in den »Grundrissen« vorliegende Konzeption von Marx, wonach Produktiv-kräfte und gesellschaftlichen Beziehungen bloß verschiedene Seiten der Entwicklung des gesellschaftlichen Individuums darstellen — und somit der Unterordnung unter das kapitalistische Kommando in einem Akt der Befreiung zu entreißen sind. Die materiellen Bedingungen des Kommunismus sind immer schon gegeben und zugleich historisch determiniert, ohne dass sich daraus eine Notwendigkeit — oder auch eine Utopie — ableiten ließe.

Im Alter von 90 Jahren ist heute Antonio #Negri gestorben. Zur Buchpräsentation von »Über das Kapital hinaus« konnte er leider schon nicht mehr kommen. Er wird fehlen.

A philosopher, political scientist, academic & activist, of his 90 years on this earth, he spent over a third in exile or in prison.
I disagreed with him often, but not always, & he remains one of the most important thinkers of our time.
